Touchlink Mobile in cooperation with "3" in 19 countries to provide the vast number of subscribers with ported content for the new 3G handsets. One of the games ported is the java game "Real Soccer", where the user brings a team to success, comes to the football ground and plays against the most popular football clubs in the world. The game has a great variety of options that will allow adjusting the game according to the users preferences. Different game modes will allow to be the winner both in a single game and in a championship. Situation "3" is among the fastest growing mobile phone operators in the world with 3G networks established in more than 20 countries. The success of "3" in its territories builds up a huge demand for quality content on 3G handsets. "3" in United Kingdom contacted Touchlink Mobile on behalf of the many countries that needed games ported. Touchlink Mobile ported six games for the new 3G handsets. Solution Using a big knowledge base of the differences and uniqueness of each handset, Touchlink Mobile took J2ME applications, reviewed the code, and adjusted them to fit to the requirements of 3G networks. All ported games were then undergoing quality assurance with several hours of actual playing on the handsets. File names were changed to the meet "3" global naming conventions and the files were handed over to "3" that, after internal tests, approved the project. Results In one and a half month Touchlink Mobile ported six games and "3" in United Kingdom could shortly provide all the territories with content to meet the demand from their customers for quality content on the new 3G handsets.
