Coca-Cola 90 on pack football promotion

Touchlink Mobile together with Upstream kicked off the campaign “Coca-Cola 90” in April 2006.


Situation

The Greek mobile applications service provider, Upstream, in 2006 entered an agreement with Coca-Cola Hellas which was sponsoring the FIFA World Cup.

  • To generate maximum consumer attention
  • To reward consumers for every purchase
  • To maintain consumer attention throughout the event

Solutions

All products sold during the period of April - July contained a short-code for access to a graphical WAP-site created by Upstream. On the WAP-site were presented a series of Java applications developed by Touchlink Mobile: an advanced football game, quiz and an interactive information application with near real-time game information




Results

The campaign achieved remarkable penetration among football fans with unprecedented frequency of participation per user. The rich content, the Java games, and the innovative mechanism guaranteed that the user experience was unique.

In 2007 Touchlink Mobile has developed two more applications for the “My Coke Music” marketing campaign, conducted in Greece – four Java Karaoke applications and a special Coca Cola music toolkit.
